  • Russell Hotel – Terms and Conditions
    1. You (our guest) agree that you will pay us (the operator) the room rate for each day of your stay and any additional charges up until the time you advise that you may have departed from the rooms.
    2. You agree that any charge for services to you, not billed at the time of your departure, may be added to your account for settlement as arranged, or may be charged to the same credit card used to pay the account at the time of departure, or to the credit card used to guarantee payment of your account.
    3. You agree that the checkout time is 11am on the date shown for your departure unless we agree to another time.
    4. You agree departure after that time may incur additional room charges.
    5. You agree as a condition of stay that you give the operator authority to apply a charge to your credit card if

    (i) your required check-in time requires us to keep the room empty on the previous day (ii) you check out late

    (iii) malicious damage has occurred in the room hired by the hirer or any guest

    (iv) any inventory items within the room are found to be missing. Any charge will be documented, reasonable and fair.

    1. You agree to pay us for any loss or damage to the room or equipment in the room during period of use.
    2. You agree to return the key for the room/s at the time of your departure and agree to pay a charge for the replacement of keys you lose or fail to return.
    3. You agree any money or valuables, goods or vehicles that belong to you, brought on to the property remain your responsibility and we are not responsible for their safekeeping.
    4. You agree that you will not make any claim against us for any damage or loss to your goods or valuables, regardless of how or where the loss or damage occurred.
    5. Check-in time is from 1.00pm. Should our guests arrive before 1pm, we are able to store your luggage until your room becomes available.
    6. Credit card details are required to guarantee all bookings.
    7. A charge of one night’s accommodation will be incurred for cancellations received earlier than 1pm, 24 hours prior to arrival. Different terms and conditions apply for special events e.g. New Year’s Eve.
    8. A surcharge of 2.5% is applied to Diners Club transactions and 3.5% is applied to American Express transactions. No surcharge is applied to Visa or MasterCard transactions.
