Families at the Russell Hotel

The Russell Hotel welcomes families. Whilst we do not have “Family Rooms”, depending on childrens’ ages, we can accommodate 1 or 2 children in our rooms (with 1 or 2 accompanying adults).

Accommodation for children under four years is free of charge.

When rooms are booked for triple use, an additional cost of $30 per person (adult or child) applies to cover rollaway bed & daily breakfast.

Cots can be requested (free of charge, subject to availability)

The following accommodation options are recommended when travelling with children.

Superior Rooms with Shared bathroom.

1 x king sized bed and 1 x single rollaway
OR 3 x single beds.
If available 2 adjacent rooms can be booked, which share the same bathroom

Deluxe rooms with private bathroom

1 x king sized bed and 1 x single rollaway
OR 3 x single beds.
When booking Deluxe rooms, Interconnecting rooms can be requested (subject to availability).

Sofa bed room

We have one deluxe room which has a foldout sofa bed that can sleep 2 younger children or 1 older child (or adult)

Superior rooms with private bathroom

Some of our superior rooms can accommodate a roll away bed.

Note: Our Standard rooms with Shared bathroom & Standard rooms with Private Ensuite cannot accommodate a rollaway bed.
